Oil Painting 2

Ready to dive further into the world of Oil Painting? In this 3 part class we will expand on our basic skills from earlier classes, further develop your own personal style, paint from real life, and walk away with your own beautiful work of art and a better understanding of Oil Painting.

In this class we will:

Create beautiful works of art from real still life setups.

Unlock the tricks of composition for engaging paintings.

Learn and incorporate classic impressionist painting style and color theory.

Have fun and go with the creative flow!

In this three part course we will use the time to learn valuable skills followed by real life painting experience. Classes will be broken into first learning a key painting skilled, followed by still life painting of dynamic and beautiful still life set ups, created to make engaging paintings that jump off the canvas.

Tonal color and values understanding.

Expressive color and pushing contrast.

Whats included:

Everything! Quality supplies to use during the class, including Winsor & Newton oil paints, brushes, canvas and canvas board, terpentine and paint thinner, pallet knives, pallets, easels, aprons, and clean up materials. Just bring yourself!
