About Dog Years
In this painting I explored how time can simultaneously move sluggishly slow and way too fast. I also wanted
to highlight the time evident in the making of a painting and the stages therein, from line, to value, to fully
rendered through the image of the dog chasing its own tail (a kind of suburban ouroboros).
