"'settling in' is a piece demonstrating my most recent life change, moving to a different city/state. after living in indianapolis my whole life, i recently moved to Chicago with my fiancé. this was painted in the first two weeks of us living together. if you know me, you know i identify as a dyke. & to be living my dyke life with the love of my life, is a dream come true, even if it requires adjusting my practice in a new physical space. "
